Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a time to support the causes that matter to you. If you want some ideas on where to start, check out these organizations.

Together, we can make sure that LGBTQ young people who need support know they are not alone. Your support will help us provide them with the affirmation and love they deserve--every single one. Your gift also helps Trevor to:

  • Advocate against anti-LGBTQ laws and work with policymakers to pass legislation to protect LGBTQ youth

  • Connect LGBTQ peers through TrevorSpace, our safe space social networking site

  • Conduct original research to capture the unique experiences of LGBTQ young people

Ability Tree First Coast, Inc. was selected as the 2022 Best of St. Augustine Award in the Disability Services & Support Organization category by the St. Augustine Award Program.

As Ability Tree First Coast grows its roots deeper into Northeast Florida, their programs will provide various opportunities for our families to be supported, included, and educated. We currently offer virtual SociAbility Meet Ups, respite through our Parents Night Out and SociAbility Socials, as well as provide a summer day camp: CampAbility Special Day Camp. We also promote inclusion in the community by offering trainings & presentations/assemblies which provide awareness & strategies for churches, businesses, schools, and organizations to assimilate these families into their visions. In the future, we will offer activities including sibling groups, workshops, and after-school programs.

This year, CAP needs your help to secure 100 donors. This will not only help us raise essential funds that provide arts education for children and youth in Northeast Florida, but also increase our donor database and increase our fundraising sustainability.

Support the Cathedral Arts Project today to help children discover and develop their unique skills and strengths through the arts. Your support will enable CAP to continue offering arts education to the children who need it most. Visit CAP’s Giving Tuesday donation page at the button below or text CAPKIDS to 44321 to donate today!

This Giving Tuesday make your $5 count towards changing the lives of children around the world, one child at a time.

Children with disabilities can be commonly defined by what they can't do—milestones unmet, and benchmarks unchecked. These children and their caregivers are among our most vulnerable population, especially if they reside in a disadvantaged community. Smiles for Speech (SFS) is committed to empowering caregivers by providing access to developmentally appropriate resources to support children with disabilities and ensure long-term sustainable solutions given by expert professional volunteers from all around the world.

The challenges are great, with some children in developing countries seen as cursed, a product of witchcraft or even snake children. Smiles for Speech has made in-roads into making change. Within 4 years, we have been able to offer life-changing training and direct therapeutic services for children in low- income communities of Ghana, Kenya, Peru and Jamaica.
